These terms cover joinsocialcode.com, app.joinsocialcode.com, the friendship check, the practice studio, our emails and our products. Social Code is run by Shavon "Anton" Rowe in Nevada, USA ("we," "us"). By using Social Code, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
Education, Not Therapy
Social Code teaches practical skills for meeting people and building friendships. It isn't therapy, medical care or a diagnosis, and it doesn't replace a licensed professional. Read the full disclaimer. If you're in crisis or might hurt yourself, call 911 or, in the US, call or text 988 right away.
Who Can Use It
You need to be at least 18 to buy anything. If you're under 18, use Social Code only with a parent's or guardian's permission. It isn't meant for anyone under 13.
The Free Tools
- The friendship check gives a read on where your friendships tend to stall. It's a starting point, not a verdict about you.
- The practice studio uses AI to play the other person. Its replies are made up by a computer. They can be wrong, odd or off, and they don't come from Anton. Don't share private details like your full name, address, health information or passwords in the chat.
- We may change, pause or limit the free tools at any time, including to stop abuse.
Using It Fairly
Please don't:
- use Social Code to harass, threaten, stalk, deceive or pressure anyone;
- try to break, overload, scrape or get around limits on our sites or tools;
- post anything illegal, hateful or someone else's private information in comments;
- copy, resell or share our paid products (see below).
We can remove content or block access when someone breaks these rules.
What You Post
You own what you write, like comments and practice messages. By posting a comment, you let us show it on our site. We can approve, edit for length or remove comments.
Our Content
Social Code's articles, frameworks, the playbook, the free map, photos, videos and designs belong to Shavon "Anton" Rowe. You can use them for your own personal growth. You can quote a short piece if you credit Social Code and link back. You can't copy, sell, share or teach them as your own without written permission.
Buying Things
Purchases are covered by our Terms of Sale and Refund Policy, which includes a 14-day refund on the playbook.
Emails
When you sign up, you agree to get emails from Anton, including one practice moment a week and news about Social Code products. Every email has an unsubscribe link. See our privacy policy.
Other Services
Some parts of Social Code run on other companies' services, like Kit for checkout. Their own terms apply to those parts, and we aren't responsible for their sites.
No Promises
We work hard to make Social Code useful and accurate, but we provide it "as is." We don't promise specific results, like making a certain number of friends, and we don't promise the sites will always be up or error-free.
Limits on Liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or follow-on losses from using Social Code, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it, or $50 if you haven't paid us anything. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Disputes
If something goes wrong, email anton@joinsocialcode.com first. Most things get sorted out that way. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, and any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts in Nevada, unless the law where you live says otherwise.
Changes
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and if it's a big change, we'll email the list. Using Social Code after a change means you accept the new terms.
